According to the latest information, Samsung has started sending the newest security update to Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+ users in Switzerland. It can be identified by firmware version G97xFXXUCFUH3. On the other hand, the update for Galaxy M31s is currently rolling out in India bundled with the firmware version M317FXXU3CUH2. As mentioned in Samsung’s documentation, the August 2021 security patch fixes 40 vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy. The new software update for Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy M31s does not bring anything more than just a new security patch.
The new OTA update is currently rolling out in specific regions, which is expected to reach other regions over the next few days. To manually check for the new update, navigate to Settings » Software updates. Samsung released the Galaxy S10 series in 2019 with Android 9 Pie out of the box. Next year, Galaxy M31s mid-ranger came into the market running Android 10. Thanks to the major upgrade(s), both the phones are now running Android 11 OS.
